"DISCOBOLE DE MYRON"
Bronze à patiné dorée représentant le "Discobole", copie du bronze d'après Myron (460-450 avant notre ère) aujourd'hui disparu mais dont la plus fidèle serait un marbre au Palais Lancelotti.
Athlète nu figé dans l'effort du lancer de son disque, la tête tournée sur le côté. Non signé.

“MYRON'S DISCOBOLUS
Bronze with gold patina depicting the “Discobolus”, a copy of the bronze after Myron (460-450 B.C.), now lost, but the most faithful of which is said to be a marble in the Palazzo Lancelotti.
Nude athlete frozen in the effort of throwing his discus, head turned to one side. Unsigned.
